We grow new potatoes and dig them fresh most mornings. The varieties we produce are British Queen and Kerrs Pink. Irish people like floury potatoes and ours are in great demand.
Our new potatoes are available from June to October.

British Queen
The British Queen variety is a popular and delicious tasting potato well known for its flour like texture and kidney shape. It has a wonderful distinct flavour with white flesh and yellow and white skin. This variety is extremely versatile and can be used for roasting, frying, baking and mashing. This potato matures early has pink-tinged eyes and are their peak availability is July through August.
Kerrs Pink
The Kerrs Pink often referred to as the 'Irish Potato' is the nations second largest potato variety and is known by it's irregular round shape. They are quite starchy and are easily recognisable by their distinctive pink skin, deep eyes and white floury flesh. They are of good eating quality and are best used for steaming, boiling and baking but also makes a very tasty chip. The peak availability is September to mid June. They should be stored in a cool dry place to avoid greening.
